R.I.P. Ja'Net DuBois. For those not in the know, she played the Evans' sassy neighbor Willona on "Good Times" and wrote and performed "Movin' On Up," which is the theme song of "The Jeffersons."

They are kinda old but this is my backup bike, I would estimate maybe only 10k miles on them. I can’t tell if the friction is in FD or cable outside shifter or inside shifter. Sigh.

Where are the best deals online these days for things like tires, cassettes, and chains?

I always check with: Merlin, PBK, ChainReaction overseas and Competitive, Excel (tires, in particular), and Jensen among others, domestically. Amazon marketplace sellers, too.

Another 48 km in the books. Headwind and full sun on the way out. I made the turn and came back under cloudy skies and tailwind. I was forced to use the big ring on occasion, so as not to spin out. All of my gears worked flawlessly.

Specialized also has some good MTB tyre deals on their site.
Dunno where the road rubber deals are now. Still have one Mich Pro4 and a couple of Clements in the humidor.

Have I mentioned how much I despise painting? I good at it, I just dont have the patience for it. Especially trim.
for one reason or another a door jamb and trim on both sides rejected the primer. It wouldnt adhere, scratched off easily with a fingernail. I had to strip it all off with a single edge razor blade, rewash it with denatured alcohol, Sand and reprime, 2 coats. 5 hour setback.
I'm still painting closet doors.
One bedroom completed. Starting the second this weekend.
Adulting sucks.

I'm not even close to considering a road e-bike, but I saw this in an email this morning and I can't help but admire how damn stealthy it is for a juiced up ride -
