Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Being prompt is a pet peeve of mine, please be on time.
If you are to be "at work" at a particular time, be there. I am flexible to some extent, as long as the work gets done, on time, and at or under estimated cost.

It's funny, even at 30, our whole family still calls her "Baby"

I usually go to work 30 minutes before my first appointment because there is always too much work to do.

Definitely. I'm not a stickler for punctuality, but it's nice to have things squared away before the first customer walks through the door.

If I get in early I usually get to leave early the corresponding amount. That's my main motivation. Haven't been doing too well this week.

It may be time to give it another shot to find a new pair of road shoes. I think that the last time I tried was two years ago, and that ended with empty-handed frustration. Hopefully it'll go better this time.

Anyone know how many days a person needs to stay off the trainer after having a tooth extracted?

Well, okay then. Hand-wringing done - that was fast.

Lake is selling their CX237 (endorsed by similarly wide-footed LAJ) for $199 (plus $15 shipping) and it seems that Lake is in the habit of creating 10% discount codes for customers willy-nilly. My thanks to Anthony for his 'ANTHONY10' discount code that saved me an additional $20.

Hopefully the shoes look good in person - I'm not a fan of black shoes and I'm a little tired of trying to keep white clean, so I went with something in between. If these don't hide smudges and scuffs, nothing will -

You'll be happy with them. Good call on the design choice, as well.

Correct. I was referring to ancient history when I managed a high-end audio shop.
