Day 1 of my son's school closure: finished his daily homework allotment within two hours of waking up and now he's running laps in the back yard because his gym teacher told him to stay active.

I just wish that he could be this focused at school. Oh, and yeah, no telling how long he'll keep it up, but it's a good start.

My wife did a Zoom call for the local bar association yesterday. Worked great. A lot of Zoom coming.
If I was mechanically inclined and owned such a business, it would be fun to be a mobile bike mechanic with a Sprinter. Drive to peoples' houses, pick up bike on the porch, fix bike, put it back on the porch, pay online.

Is that anywhere near Trenton? Seems like every time I go over it on the train it's got tidal rapids going. Then you go a mile or two south and there's that sort of trailer dacha community and it looks really sluggish.

I can't remember the last time that I went to a barber. I've been shaving my head for the last couple years and I was buzzing it myself for a decade or more before that. On the shaving front, I recently got in a variety pack of 100+ double-edged safety razor blades (and this was not a hoarding maneuver - high quantites of blades are just the norm for DE shaving) - that should last me a bit.

I'm trying to sift through local Japanese whisky availability and pricing. I'm finding that some shops are stone age and don't even have online product listings, let alone inventory levels. Then! Then there's the shop that has 18 pages of whisky/whiskey with no way to narrow or even sort the results. The savages!

Today's the last day of decent weather for at least the next 5 days.
Unfortunately, Sunday morning I had to have a cyst drained in my armpit so my range of motion without pain is really quite limited at the moment. If I had a bike with upright handlebars I might still be able to ride, but everything I own has drop bars. Sad!

The switch to DE wet shaving has been really good for me - my skin has improved, since. Good results in terms of closeness/smoothness and it seems like a gentle exfoliant - not as irritating as disposable cartridges. It's also a nice, calming process.
