Not exactly bike related but I suspect many of you will appreciate this. I've wanted one for a long time and finally just decide to do it.

Happy BTday to me!

That’s Happy BikeToolday to me!

At the unpacking...cutters look brand new...shipping oil is still on the blades...

I like that particular tire remover...

Nice VAR wrench, multi tool(s), spoke tools, old third hand, presta valve, appears to be a 15mm socket breaker bar thingie...

Hmmmmm...tire irons and real iron tire irons...can’t find the name on line, but, they’re from England...looks like radiiaLL or raduaLL...

New bike bag day

Feel like a kid on Christmas day!

I ordered three bags from Ely at RuthWorks.
I order patches from the Tarik Saleh Bike Club and Tarik sent them directly to RuthWorks for sewing.

I'm looking forward to enjoying these and trying to be a good club member.

Slipped to Page 3???
Maybe people are cutting back on non-essentials.

Anywhooo, to be a contrarian - as usual - I finally pulled the trigger on the PlanetX Holdsworth branded, vintage looking crankset. [Should it be called replica? ] On sale for under $100 with further % discount.

Going on the Holdsworth Special (Irish Harding branded). I like drilled rings on a few bikes. 48/34 and 172.5 for old legs and steep hills. And besides, the bike has been treated as neglected stepchild since last fleet component swap-around.

Going on the black Harding branded Holdsworth Special.

Good choice- they are back on sale? they were sold out for a while--- great price on a vintage look compact. I had one (on a centurion..)but sold that bike... may need to get another. its going to look spectacular on your Harding and you will be happy with the compact I am sure.

After replacing the old Sedis Sport with a NOS Sedis Sport I noticed some skipping. New freewheel time! Luckily found a new identical one. Riding better than ever!

Here's a link with a bunch of pics of the bike when I rebuilt it... New years starting off with a bang! Ritchey | Retrobike & https://forums.mtbr.com/vintage-retr...y-1066034.html

Found a donor bike for the cranks levers & brakes. Now it's just as I wanted it. Ridiculous amount of fun to work on & ride.
