Triumph is a TRW, Triumph's War Department offering for Dispatch Riders. Not made for public consumption, but they got sold off on Gvt auctions. The Raleigh is a '62 Sport Delux ...the frame is anyway. It's been built and rebuilt so many times , I've lost tract. The common thread is that both bikes were my entry into vintage bicycles and motorcycles. Here is the Raleigh's first configuration

Black and White Night
A few shots from tonight's ride:
Pardon the repetitive composition, but these seemed to work best tonight.

This Viner Special Touring speaks volumes on what people love about hand-built Italian bicycles. I marvel at how strong and light it feels - on flat ground it is almost effortless to pedal.
I'm building up an `80s Peugeot PKN-10 Competition now. It will be interesting to compare and contrast these two.

Quickie Ride Over Lunch Break
There's a nice gravel/dirt/grass loop around the lakes near my house. Now that I'm working from home, I find it's the perfect length to get out for a quick ride over my lunch break. Today I brought the Leica with me...
I arrived home refreshed and happy, and 12 years old again for a few moments.
