Add on repair stand clamp.
Hi. Is anyone aware of an add on style clamp that could be mounted to an existing tripod style light stand? As a musician, I have several old "Ultimate Supports" style tripods in the garage. There are many wall and bench mount type clamps out there, but I'd like to find one that would work with one of my tripods. Basically it would need an adustable tube grip on both ends... Thanks in advance for replies!

I think some U bolts and a typical bench mount stand could be made to work. I've got my tv for zwift on a PA speaker stand myself...

My stand was built by Ultimate Support. Feedback sports is now the same stand. Their clamp might be compatible with your stands.
I would contact feedback sports to see if their clamp will work.

It basicalIy looks like a feedback sports stand without the head.
Feedback sells the head separately, and they give dimensions to verify. It sounds like you may have to drill.

And the winner is... aggiegrads! My tripod tubes are all 1.75" OD and the spare crossbeam, (pre-drilled with .5" holes is 1.75" OD and sleeve fits inside the vertical tube in the tripod with a clamp stop. Kudos to Feedback for making the product and providing the needed specs! Thanks to all who posted.

You might consider the Park PRS-7-1 bench mount stand or the PRS-7-2. I’m not sure of the exact diameter of the top assembly that the clamp fits into but it’s close to 1.75”. You could call Park and they can tell you precisely. The PRS-7-1 is about $20 more expensive than the PRS-7-2 but that $20 is well worth the extra money. That clamp on the PRS-7-1 is the better adjustable clamp.
