i love this guy.....he keeps track to the hundredths of a mile! But don’t laugh, once he’s completely healthy, he’s gonna be way up there on the leaderboard.

Here’s my new ride.....2021 Trek Domane SLR 7, 58cm frame, hydraulic discs, 32mm tubeless, Di2, from and rear ISO speed, Bontrager carbon wheels. And stack, long wheelbase and low BB to boot! I got red cause I want to be seen.......This thing will chew up the rough tarmac quite readily.

Now, to put some serious miles on her....

Well this is a setback I hadn't counted upon. Smoke from all the fires in California has made this weekend's air quality forecast a bit less than ideal.

Think I'm gonna stay off the road for a few days.

Today when I hit mile 11 my legs began to tell me to stop. I pushed on for a bit but I remembered what the doc told me; "listen to your body" and so I decided to stop my ride as my legs continued to feel stressed even though I hadn't reached my daily goal. Gonna call the doctor later today (it is also a blessing to me that my surgeon turned out to be an avid cyclist) just to be sure, but my legs, especially my right leg where I had the surgery is feeling extremely sore. Hadn't had a single issue until today.
