I was putting the blower away in the shed after mowing, literally within one minute after I was done, and it unexpectedly started raining. I finished just in time.

In other lawn mowing news, the Kobalt 'lectrical mower is the stuff. I'm going to take my gasser to work, and mow down some weeds in the parking lot, then leave it by the dumpster for the metal guys to have. The battery is more than enough, and my spare 3ah one is a good back up. We don't all live on Southfork like rjones.

Fear not! Despite about 4 inches of rain in the past 24 hours, all is well with DougRNS.
In other news, after multiple attempts to get an appointment with the cardiologist i have secured one for Monday. Also, if i get a stress test i have to get a covid test first and quarantine for 3 days. I will discuss options during my in person consult with the Dr.

In more other news, I replaced several burned out light bulbs and re-attached the dryer vent. I was imagining a lengthy battle to reattach it but I did it in about a minute. I was understandably shocked at my luck.
I am on vacation next week so I might podium if everyone else takes the week off.

Damn that was a fun ride.
The dirt was perfect and I was feeling really confident on the bike. Set my best three times ever on my favorite descent in the park.
Last PR was 1:02, the three runs I did tonight we're 43s, 40s, and 35s

Got in a heat-of-the-day ride today. It was supposed to be just 10 miles or so, but I kept riding for some reason. Who knows, maybe someday I'll miss riding in triple digits, then I'd have thought of it as a missed opportunity

Trails in a park.
I know it's nothing like what you've got out there, but hey - it's close and free!

A couple years ago Bike Magazine had a trip to a resort deep in Canada with trucks to shuttle riders out and a helicopter to a remote mountaintop on the final day. I so wanted to do it but didn't have anyone to go with me and convince me to go. I saw the pictures and a video after and I think I would have been fine on the trails but definitely would have been the oldest one there.

First in, Slackers. Of course, I was also probably the first to bed last night.
