Hope everyone has had the same great weather as we have had here. I finally got around to checking out a old rail trail in the area and it was great riding. Where did you ride?

I tend to ride in circles. No matter where or how far I ride I always end up where I started. Kind of like ground hog day wrapped in a turduckin. Yesterday I rode 8 miles of rail-trail conversion as part of my longer ride east of Seattle.
Happy 70th, Chris!

I road 35 miles yesterday up and down the coast in SoCal and it was very cold mid 50s. That’s cold for us in SoCal. When the cold wind picked up at 11am my hands and feet were actually freezing and I was wearing full finger leather gloves. We’re getting some weather coming from Alaska.

It was a great ride home tonight on the Co-Motion, my back was even sweating (I stupidly didn't bring anything to secure my bag on the rack or a pannier)

70* Upstate NY in November!?
Didn’t check out your location. Just assumed you turned 70 and live is a warm climate looking at the picture. So many don’t bother to enter their location, I stopped looking. That’s my excuse and am sticking to it! Hope you do turn 70 some year, but don’t rush.

I imagine that the recent weather in upstate NY has been similar to what we have had in Montreal. What a pleasure to be able to ride in shorts and short sleeve jersey a week into the month of November. I will be 71 in about 5 weeks

Did my first nighttime “mountain biking” (Green Lake, Syracuse) after work yesterday. I clocked out at 4:30, the Sun set at 4:45 as I chowed a few slices of pre-ride pizza. There was just an thin orange crust of sunlight left when I got up to the sorta “prairie” plateau area of the park. It was black out by the time I got into the trails. Super happy that my dissatisfaction with headlights has netted me a ~4K lumen collection. Super fun ride. Riding home back through the city was strangely peaceful.

Filled up my mower’s triple bagger twice with leaves and needles before heading out for a quick spin. Major storm coming in tonight with lots of wind and rain.

What's between my ears is mush. But I still have self awareness and logic and good physical abilities.
You should wear your helmet.
And let me decide my own risks.
Thanks. and enjoy your rides.
edit: Especially in the 70s, be it *F or years.

Warm ish
American tobacco trail metic century
in the mid 60°F rode a metric century on the ATT.
Great ride even if I got back to parking lot later than I had hoped.
