Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Worst flight I ever had was a small regional one. the ones with small planes crammed full of people. I was in a window seat and the person in the isle seat really needed to book two seats. Thankfully it was only a short flight.

I once flew from Ithaca NY to National in DC. Terrible! Turboprop plane, had to crouch just to walk down the aisle. The landing at National comes in over the Potomac, so it was bumpy as all hell. Also, noisy as all hell.

I had a relatively young (under 65) patient email me today that he wants to get a covid vaccination when he comes in next week.

Sigh.

He may have read about how doses are going begging because of the appallingly bad rollout.

I think he is just clueless. I also saw a patient who is 25 and an EMT who was offered the vaccine at work but declined. I told her I think she should get it, she said she might but wants to do more research first.

smh

Probably one of ours. If you had to crouch on a dash 8 then you would have to crawl on my new plane.

One last thought on the comfort animal. In my opinion if you bring a comfort animal they should have to be certified and have training. I don’t understand why someone would think it’s okay to bring there dog on a plane that hasn’t been trained. The amount of stress you are putting on that animal, not to mention the disregard for other paying passengers.

I forgot, in today’s society it’s all about me, I only live once, and everyone else can be offended.
