Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Thats the approach I had planned on with my new wheels. You know what they say about plans, plans go to **** as soon as you cut the new chain too short.

Speaking of who needs an 11 speed chain with no miles? If your chain stay is shorter than mine it would prolly work fine. It’s about 2 links short for my bike. It would shift on to the largest cog but the derailer didn’t look like it enjoyed it.

How many links are left? I could probably use it.

Colder than the Quasi-North and a chance of snow. I'm happy to provide ground transportation and a spot of lunch, bike shop tour, whatever. PM me for details.

For the years that it'll last (as long as you don't make a habit of crashing ), it's worth a little extra effort to install.

A spot of lunch? I get those on my shirt if I eat carelessly.

How is buying stuff from ProBikeKIt? Delivery times reasonable? Does all of their stuff come from England?

They have something I want at a good price, but not if it takes 3 months to get here.

Save it for me and my next VA trip - I've got a 25t max cog, so a pretty short chain.

Or you could just use two matter links and extend it.

My experience has been that they arrive very quickly. Can't remember exactly, but I think it's always been within a week, and that includes shipping a wheelset from Merry Olde.

It was a typo, but it still works, so I kept it in.
