Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'm curious about that but the main unknown is their diagnosis of my wheel hub. What needs done to it.

Yeah, it's probably been a while since they serviced a wheel like that, but that's how we're rolling.

It was 40 degrees this morning when I left my house at 5 am. It felt like summer. To bad I was heading to work.

After that every time we talked about them she would say "It's not as big as MY centipede" or "remember My centipede?"

I think the biggest one was 6 or 7 inches long. They can deliver a nasty bite/sting.

Maybe some time in early 2019, but I had already cut back by then. We made a pizza with a non-grain, low carb crust a few nights ago. Good mozz, asiago, red onion and left-over chicken made it tolerable.

Gonna try and ride for a slice today. Still very wind here but the ride start is 20 miles southeast and in the shadow of the mountains which usually provide wind free cycling.

For some reason, the dishwasher in the office kitchen is running. There is nothing in it.

What’s wrong with Castelli sizing? My beef is with their price but fit has been good for me.

My friend raced CX for a few years and won the California/Nevada championship for her cat once. She has incredible bike handling and can fly down a technical mtb trail better than most of the guys out there.

As usual, there is no one else here. (Probably 4 out of 5 days i have the place to myself.) And the controls are on the top of the door. You need to open the door to start it. Perhaps someone did come start it to clean it, but who?

Theres MTB single track essentially in my back yard, I think it’s suitable for a gravel bike

I bought a set of Castelli bibs and jersey when Performance Bike was closing its retail stores. I bought XXL, which was ridiculously tight, when I was wearing XL in everything else comfortably - in fact Performance's XL jerseys fit really loosely. It wasn't till I'd lost about 30# that I could even get into them.

Way back a long time ago, I traveled to Iowa City for a CX race and placed third in the Cat 1-2 class but since I was over 35 at the time, I was also given1st in the Masters category. Unbeknownst to me, it was the Iowa State Championships so I got a 3rd place medal in the 1-2 championship and a 1st place trophy for Masters. Not bad for an Illinoisan.

I bought a pair of Castelli bibs one time and couldn't begin to pull them up. Had to sell them.

I did have a Castelli wool jersey way back when wool stuff was what we had and it was pretty nice.

We had Castelli team kit, until about five years ago. Size large race-cut jersey fit okay (I could zip it without busting a seam). The bibs were very comfortable.
