Orange p7 with short rigid fork

Hi,

I have an Orange P7 (2006) MTB frame designed for a 130mm suspension fork. I also own a 430mm rigid fork. Would it be suitable to use this frame with the rigid fork for bikepacking? I'm concerned about the bike behavior or other affects. Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Do some measuring and you will know. If the rigid fork is suspension corrected and the A2C is the same or very close you will be potentially fine assuming both forks have the same taper and such but there are plenty of options for mounting stuff to suspension forks and I would probably rather do that than swap a fork.
