How much oil volume in this shock?

I have a vintage Specialized Rockhopper with a Specialized Future FS shock. It is soft. So I took it apart to rebuild it. I'm not sure what the correct oil volume is to refill it with? Do you know? Thank you. Photo is a sample of the fork. Not my photo.

Can’t answer your specific question, but I had a Future Shock that looked identical to that except the steerer was not threaded. As far as I could tell it was a rebadged Rock Shox Mag 21. You may find more info on that fork.

I’m wondering what you determined. I recently rebuilt a Manitou Magnum R from 2001 and had trouble finding guidance for it. I finally did and it called for the oil level to be approximately 4.5” from the top of the tube. This is my only experience with rebuilding, so I don’t know other forks, but it looked to me that this allowed for the O-ring on the bottom of the plunger to still be within the oil when the fork was fully extended and left space in the tube for the oil when the fork was fully compressed.
