Evening workouts better for mortality than morning....
Their study looked at 30,000 middle-aged people with obesity and found that evening exercisers were 28 percent less likely to die of any cause than those who worked out in the morning or afternoon.

The usual caveats, one study, specific in this case to obese individuals, etc.

Deceptive title. It suggest we do evening exercises if we don't want to live 'till morning. I read your post because I exercise late and do want do live.

Scanned the Times article earlier. Sure enough, the study's lead author says the best time to exercise is when you can.

It may be significant that the evening exercise cohort was also the smallest, with statistical validity suffering consequently.

It's very difficult to gain any useful information from these type studies. As far as managing T2 diabetes, simple, just stop eating sugar and high glycemic foods and space your calories farther apart.
