On one of the bridges across the marsh out on Jamestown Island, right after I built up my Nobilette a few years ago.

Beargrass Creek

Using the Schwinn SLT 12.2 to give an example of the worst kind of light for a photo. Also an example of how the main topic- the bike, it’s all about the bike- can get completely lost in the background.

Anywayz- this is a freeway MUP in L’ville KY , over Beargrass Creek I think. It’s working its way to the mighty mighty Ohio River. Mostly I -and the homeless- like this path as it’s somewhat separated from the freeway by urban overgrowth. And it’s near Seneca & Cherokee Parks. I recommend it as a Big4 Bridge to Parks connection— after it gets opened back up….apparently the alley I took to get on wasn’t well blocked- but my exit sure was!!
cheers

.

It's just a bridge over a creek but I guess it counts.
I'd hate to try to cross that creek with my bike without that bridge

Feeling a bit Jealous of all the Northwesterners. I very nearly booked a flight into SeaTac and one out of PDX to do a mini-101 tour, but I only have 6 days, so I wouldn't have much time to spend in Seattle or Portland visiting friends and favorite places. Also, I only have the Ironman to ride atm, and I doubt it would make a good tourer. Instead, I'm doing a road trip to Portland, Maine and Montreal, where I'll have a day each for a ride around the city. Should be some good bridges around.

Here's my Ironman on another Pittsburgh bridge:

86 Schwinn Passage crossing the Rio Bravo in the Mesilla Valley. There’s been a steady stream of water this season.
