Pictures of your loaded rigs?

Well, it wasn't loaded, but it had been at one time. I'd completely rebuilt this beauty in preparation for doing The Transamerica in 2016. Fell in love, sold the bike and moved to New Zealand. lol After this pic I got a Sugino XD 600 triple and Ultegra bar cons. I had completed one tour of Ireland, Scotland and Wales about 10 years prior. The stock setup was RSX brifters w/26-36-46×12-28t 7 that I upgraded to a 12-36t. Softride Travelers never caught on. Too bad as this was a great touring bike. Spring loaded stem w/a carbon fiber bar.

Gearing up for the first trip of the year. A couple of new bags, new remote dropper post lever position, and a packing rearrangement.
I can't wait.

Camping on the Rhine River
On the banks of the Rhine, just south of Cologne at Camping Berger. Nice place. Only 15 Euros a night. Would recommend.
This place was across the street from the campground. Whimsical!
Spent a couple of nights camping on the banks of the Rhine. Was forced to evacuate due to flood conditions.

Then I started staying at campgrounds on the Rhine river. They were about 15 to 20 bucks a site and seemed like there was one every 10 to 15 km. They say the best part of the Rhine is between Mainz and Cologne. My advice is to try to do the minimum amount of miles a day so you can sit on the banks of the Rhine, watch the transport ships motor by and sip on a beer or two in the sunshine. It is an incredible way to while away the afternoon and soak up the vibe. The campground in Koblenz at the confluence of the Rhine and the Moselle rivers is nice. The fortress on the bluff is worth a visit. There is a youth hostel up there as well.
I only went to Cologne and then headed towards Aachen and Belgium.
I'm starting my 6th week over here, living on my bicycle. If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me.

Day 1 heading out from Rochester, MN over to Lake City to pick up the MRT USBR 45
Day 8 the return trip to Rochester. I rode up to St. Cloud and then came back on the east side of the Mississippi River. I came around the south end of Lake Pepin to Lake City before heading back to Rochester.
