Beach Cruisers Do you love balloon tires and fenders? Do you love riding the simplicity of a single gear and coaster brakes or a single gear cluster? Do you love the classic curves in the tubing of a cruiser that takes you back to the 1950's and 1960's, stylistically? Here's your home! Welcome to the Beach Cruisers and Cruisers forum!

Wow, those are great fenders. Are they Electra's fenders? I saw an Electra model with fenders (A Coaster?) at my LBS, but I think the frame design stands out much better with the fenders off. But, as noted, I am sure I would change my mind after riding through a puddle.

Two years ago I found an old Schwinn cruiser, almost complete, in a second hand shop. I believe it was from the 1950's. I should have bought it. One of my many "one that got away" stories!

Thanks for the pictures!

I have his and hers Townies 21D We've had them for about four years. This is the bike that ruined me! I built bikes for ten years. After I bought these, I decided I can't build a better, more comfortable, bike than this....Haven't built a bike in over two years. After seeing your Cruiser, I may have to consider one of those.

Electra Cruiser

The Townie was my first crank forward bike, no joke I went straight to the LBS and bought the Cruiser1. I still want a Townie but I'm good with the Cruiser for now. The fenders were from Amazon.com nothing special but already sold. This is how it is now...
