Been a while, but these two just showed up. Opinions welcome. Cannondale M700 and a Viscount.

Thus nice Univega Activa jumped into my vehicle at the dump today. Gave it a quick citrus clean.

Do a lot of people really visit their town dump multiple times a month?
I think I was at our metro's dump in 2019.
...if klein frames were just laying around, I would make the drive more than once every decade.

It’s a transfer station - gets a visit every time the bin at home is full (in my case maybe once or twice a month).

depends on your circumstance. I don’t have curbside, and I drive by it repeatedly, so I swing in to see what free items have arrived. It’s like a free flea market. An incredible amount of great stuff trickles in.

I haven't been to a dump since two decades I think @rwh63, just by curiosity did you happen to finish one of your projects ?

No such thing, but wishing you and anyone who rides it a long and healthy life.

well, i ride my kona. i will ride the univega as an around town bike. i have re-homed (ie, sold/donated), several bikes, including the klein and funk and raliegh, all to enthusiastic buyers). i have MANY different interests, but one overarching one is to, if the opportunity exists, to rescue from destruction worthy equipment of all sorts. i keep some, sell some, donate some. recycle/reuse, right? i would say i'm a generalist. i tap into better minds on various forums to help me understand what i have and what my options are.i get educated, others perhaps as well, and the world is a little better. i couldn't possibly keep and fix asnd use everything.
