I never bothered to, but I often wondered what happens to those scorecards after the game. Do people, especially season ticket holders, keep them or are they round filed?

I go back far enough to remember sportscasters like Vin Scully calling out a 6-4-3 double play; for those who keep score.

Anyway I looked it up and total MLS attendance is around 10 million, compared to 70 million MLB. By your logic (which seems nonsense btw) soccer fans are considerably more discerning.

Ummmm ... MLB attendance has been on a slow decline for years. The 2023 figure is lower than it was in 2000, 2001, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017.

If that's true, then maybe they shouldn't have changed the rules, since attendance increased by 19 million the year before the rule changes were put in place, and 6 million after they were put in place.
