Components compatibility database
Does anyone know if there is website where you can plug in parts and it tells you if it is compatible or how to make the combos compatible?
For example different speeds compatibility for Shimano or Shimano vs. Campy vs. SRAM. There's so much info out there with many not so accurate and I like a simple answer than reading a long response which may or may not answer my question.

Better yet since the search function is bad and the question has most likely already been asked many times, just google the compatibility question. Results from here and elsewhere will be right at your fingertips.
