Very nice. I had my first real ride in on Wednesday. 14 miles with 850 ft of gain. That's pretty much dead flat to me. Love climbing and have a 15 mile loop with over 1300 feet myself right from the door.

Nice! I know plenty of Clydes avoid climbing. Not sure why, it's fun, challenging and builds character.

20 miles/69 min, / 6 mph wind / 65°F/ 11:30 AM
Rode with my big thigh nephew who is half my age. What a thrill but he had to stop to wait for me. Great ride after all.

Rode 37 miles on Sunday with a group of friends down in Pittsburgh. First real ride of the year. Last night after work I hit the roads at home. Started out with the feeling I needed a real hill. Halfway up the real hill, my legs said, too early. I had to stop right before the max of 19% to rest a moment. I've yet to walk a hill though, so after a couple minutes, I slugged past the 19% where normally it feels like the decrease to 10% feels flat again. Didn't feel flat last night. I suffered the whole way.
Time to put a few smaller hills under the legs before taking anything big again. Thank goodness I am going to be with my kids this Saturday because my buddy already hit me up with doing half of the Pittsburgh Dirty Dozen hills this weekend. Think I'll give it a few miles of hills yet before I tackle that.

The other day I did 40 miles in 2.5 hours in a group. I am the only clyde in the group but was surprised that I had to hold back when I was up front on the way home. a bunch burned out trying to keep up to the leaders and got in trouble.
