Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Even some dull Minnesotans misunderstand - it's MN "nice," not "MN nice." One of the key characteristics of MN "nice" is passive-aggressive behavior.

So, in that light, yeah - I'll definitely consider sending those rotors your way if I get some new ones.

Only if you're sure you don't need them, especially since you haven't seen my chinchy offer.

I'm sure it'll be fine - we'll go over it later.

Oh, and I've got a plate of leftover lutefisk for you - be sure to grab it on the way out.

This afternoon in the desert was one of those "It doesn't get any better than this" kinda things. I came up on a bobcat, he was staring back at me from 20' for a couple of prolonged seconds. Getting that close to them really wakes you up, makes you a little more aware for the rest of the ride

Sorry no pics of the kitty...

I received my wholesale flour today. Fifty pounds of whole wheat, 25 pounds of all purpose. Plus I got the 2 pounds of yeast earlier in the week.

I am now a flour & yeast dealer, weighing out my packets on a scale to sell to my customers.

I have already sold 18 pounds of all purpose, 19 pounds of whole wheat, and 7 oz active dry yeast. I hit the streets with them tomorrow.

Seems like a great time to take up baking. I'd totally do that if not for these meddling kids.

Costco was empty this afternoon. As were the streets. It's the first I've been out in a week. I wasn't up to speed on the two meter rule, at first, but caught on quickly.
Within two weeks of giving up both dairy and wheat, I had a slice of their pizza. It did nothing for me. A store I swing by on the way home always has San Francisco Bay coffee, brewed, complimentary. I always have a cup because my dad taught me to always go for the free coffee. It doesn't do anything for me anymore either.
