Picked up a Bianchi as my first bike, need details!

Picked up a Bianchi as my first bike, need details!
I bought an 80s Bianchi road bike as a commuter and something to get me started cycling. I've spent a while trying to figure out what model it was and the specific year, but it's proved difficult seeing as the bike doesn't have the original paint.
I had settled on the fact that it was probably an ~'83 Nuovo Racer, but recently things don't seem to be adding up, so here I am to get some "closure"
- Derailleurs and shifters are Campy, rear derailleur says "Pat. 84"
- Hubs are Ofmega, "Closed Ofmega" is written on the quick release levers
- Crank arms have "Bianchi" printed on the outside, 170 on the inside and "9/16X20F" near the pedals
- Front gears are 52/42
- Wheels are Ambrosio 19 Extra Elites
- Brakes are Modolo America
- Cables pass under the BB
- The only serial number i could find is on the head tube "2D12934"
- Where most Bianchi forks I've seen in those years have a "B" on either side, mine has "Bianchi"
If you guys think of anything else, ask me. Pictures will be up soon!

Yes, post the pictures please, they are appreciated here, a lot. There are several members that can help you out, Bianchi Girl comes to mind first, as do Randyjawa, Rootboy and ColonelJLoyd. Too many to mane in total. Sounds like a nice bike to me.

Thanks for the replies! After more searching, I stumbled on to another thread about an '84-'85 Veloce in which Bianchigirll posted catalog scans. Everything seems to point to it being a Nuovo Alloro.

Great looking Bianchi. Unfortunately I won't be home for a few weeks to check for sure but I think you have a '83/84ish Nuovo Alloro ot the next model or two up like maybe a Nuovo Tipo

Unfortunately, there wasn't any decals left on the bike as I'm sure the previous owner (A 16-17 yr old who tuned it up to flip it) stripped the whole body and repainted it. The thing that really gets me is the fork. Most early 80s Bianchis I've been looking at have had the simple "B" monogram on the top of the fork, whereas this one has "Bianchi" written out.

AH HA!! That explains why the decals look funky. They general style is correct but the font seems to have a bit more slant, and alot of OEM decals like this had a contrast shadow to them.
John could be right it sould be a slightly older model but with a newer RD. If everything is OEM the brakes would eb the best indicator of year since earlier '80s bikes might have Universal at this level but bikes closer to '84 and later would have Modolo or DiaCompe

I found that catalog you posted! Everything seemed to match up with the Nuovo Alloro according to this, however, I'm not sure if that year's models had the fork like mine. The only thing that doesn't seem to fit is the seatpost and maybe the stem (can't tell anything about the stem)
