Soon to purchase a dropper post for my Stumpjumper FRS- I am really liking the Thomson dropper. Anyone riding one? I know it is pricey but ...

I've been running the Kindshock Supernatural for almost a couple years now and have had no issues with the post. It works great and has been very reliable. If you're looking at the Thomson, might as well take a look into the KS Lev also. The Lev has a fixed cable position near the seatclamp, which is a nice feature to have.

I think it's interesting that Thomson has already addressed several issues that surfaced mainly through things like the MTBR thread.

Lots of info on MTBR in the Thomson dropper thread. I haven't used one, but like everything Thomson, it looks very solid.

I'm 6'2" and feel the need for a 25-30mm setback post even though the FSR was apparently designed for a no-offset post. The Thomson looks well-made but the paltry 5mm setback ruins it for me. I'm going to put a 140ish stem on my bike next to see if makes me want to reduce offset.

KS Lev
Just purchased a KS Lev for my 2012 Stumpy FSR Elite, it is great, smooth, infinitely adjustable, easy to install and control, no sag yet. Highly recommend!
