looks & sounds like it was intentional. the driver revved his engine & sped up before hitting her? what a low life. glad to read "the bicyclist is doing okay and she was not badly hurt"

Jacksonville Beach Hit and Run
In the video of this hit and run, it appears to me that the cyclists are "salmoning," but maybe I'm not looking at it right. This in no way would excuse the hit and run aspect of this.

Cycle Year Round
In the second video, yes they were "salmoning" in a bike lane. This seems to be one of those rare occasions when "salmoning" saved them from more serious injury.

It's a bike lane and, seemingly, on one side of the street only. I'm guessing that it's a two way lane. We have some of those in Houston.

I agree... if the police take it seriously. There likely are < 100 El Caminos registered in St. Louis.
Likely an aficionado would be able to narrow it down, even if moderately customized. Late 70's? Early 80's?
Are the St. Louis traffic cams all redlight triggered? Or are there streaming ones? Anyway, somewhere the plates are visible.
Whether or not the eye witness report was accurate, it did appear to me in the video that the track of the vehicle altered slightly upon impact, so the driver had to have felt something.

Combine the video with what the witness said and it appears to be road rage. I hope they catch the drive and prosecute this felony. It is a miracle that the cyclist was not badly hurt.

Poor stupid sod of a driver. If he did that to the wrong cyclist, he would have been the one to run for his life. I hope that the cyclist find the driver and does something to him, like torches the poor sod together with his car. That way they get to burn in hell together.
