Sticky buttons on action camera
My action camera ( Campark v30) is having a sticky record button problem. When I'm at home testing it, it seems fine. But when I'm on the road, inserting it into the waterproof case, the record button gets stuck down and instead of recording, displays other camera settings, like video resolution.
I'm thinking of dabbling some 90% alcohol into the record button and cleaning the water proof case.
Has anybody else had similar problems with their action camera? It's three years old. Is it time to get a new one? Or is it just simply a dirty interior?
I googled and got mixed results. Some say alcohol is fine for electronics. Others say alcohol will dissolve the lens material and the other adhesives. I'm just attempting to clean inside the record button.

No, the button gets stuck when it's outside of the case too when I'm out riding.
Like when I change batteries, the button gets stuck even outside of the case.

I cleaned all the buttons including those on the waterproof case with 99% alcohol. All is back to normal.
