I'm kinda glad to have the weekend off. I probably wouldn't go to WVU since it's SOOO far away, but since I can take this weekend to chill and not have any races, I'm probably gonna go to WVU. I figure since nobody usually shows up for that one, I might have a chance to do well.

Who cancels a bike race because of rain...
I need to get my money back now, because I'm going back home in a few days. This is actually pretty stupid...

be glad. cancelling this thing just saved you a bunch of skin rtc, a big bunch of skin. virginians drive terribly ride bikes just the same. it's like they get a crooked gene at birth or as soon as they obtain residency. you should see them try to navigate a bike race. heck, lithuania rides in a 96.1% straighter line since moving across the potomac.

I think we're throwing a party on saturday night so the TT is probably a no go. I also don't see the point of doing a TT on my road bike, especially since I hate solo efforts. It'd be a good way to get a real sense of FTP though.
Whatevs...

I'll probably drive home on monday now, and race a tuesday nighter in jersey, and then head back to CT on friday and race in plainsville on saturday and possibly do bethel on sunday. That'll be 5 races for next week then. Hopefully my body will be up for it.
Edit: Actually, my parents wouldn't be too happy about my leaving to go back so early haha. I'll probably just head back on saturday and race at bethel. I love that course anyway. The hill at the end is good for my weight.

MDCatV's zing was pretty funny, yet rich coming from someone from Maryland! As unnerving as Charlottesville traffic is, the beltway North of DC is the scariest place to drive I've experienced in a long while. I hope not to have to return for a long time. Next time I go to Maryland, I'll stick to the Western part of the state....
