C, mon, we sit around 'bustin stones over the length of a front brake cable. I am pretty sure that guy doesn't swerve his van across the street when he sees a rim in a pile of rubble either.

Let's keep our perspective. They are barbarians though.

If you are more appreciative of fashion, as are many of our roadscum brethren,
you realize that black has a slimming effect that looks better with the requisite
full lycra kit............you cannot be too thin or too rich, people.

I have to revive my own zombie thread for this. A new thread seen in the Fixie forum:
Learning to ride backwards on my fixie. Whenever the pedal reaches the bottom of the rotation I fall to one side. Any tips?
Best answer: Ride frontwards.

I'm at a loss for words.

No kidding, how lame would it be to hang out in a forum where almost everyone spends their time fussing with how their bike looks?

I almost hit a kid on a fixie (freestyle fixie, like a BMX, but still a fixie) when he rode backwards out of a driveway onto the street. I called him a name.* He didn't appreciate that, and tried to catch up with me. That was pretty funny.

I've been "chased" by morons a couple of times. It should be easy to outrun them in theory (because they're riding clapped-out mountain bikes with no brakes, or a BMX bike with fellow moron on the handlebars,) but it's hard to go all-out when you're laughing hysterically.
