Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Apoxee to Riverbend

I ride the Apoxee trail a lot in West Palm Beach. Lately I've been venturing from there up to PGA and back. About 21 miles. I think next weekend I'm going to go from Apoxee to Reverbend in Jupiter and back. I hear it's about 40 miles. I'm new to getting back into bikes but used to be an avid mountain biker. I've just built my gravel bike and have logged about 200 miles on her so far. I'm a big guy at around 250 pounds so I built a rugged bike. Any tips for my first 40 mile off road ride?
