Flower Box

My wife and I needed to spruce up the flower pots on the front porch, so we pedaled to the local nursery last Saturday.

This is my do-it-all Ironman. Hauled a 50lb bag of cement on top of the bars last week. Grocery bags I just dangle off the end of the bars while I try to stop them swinging into the spokes.

I've been spamming this all over the forums, but it's evolved. Mounted 35mm Paselas, added a Wald 137, got an Acorn Basket Bag, wrapping the tubes for protection when locking and now I'm slowly adding lights - put a Spanninga Pixeo on the rear fender the other day. Four bags on board.

Gorgeous! A shame to have to cover some of the paint and decals, but I understand why -- bike racks are dangerous places.
I spy a "seat sandwich" for putting a 4-wire saddle into a 2-wire seatpost. I forget who made those, Joe Breeze maybe?

Thanks for the excellent photo.

Thanks, Mark! The decals aren't original but the paint is and it's a bit fragile. The covers provide a bit of camouflage since this is my commuter as well. I have a VO wrap coming for the top tube and I'll move the tape to the down tube so all 3 are covered. You're right, the seat sandwich is a Joe Breeze gadget. I love that saddle, had it on my Sports which this replaces. I've had it in mind to do a build like this for a while, and I'm really tickled with it.

I most certainly did, Tom, with your help during a repack of rear hub and pedal bearings.
