Hey, I'm hunting for a cheap-as-possible shorter stem. I assume the Scott stem is for the standard 1 1/8" steerer, and 31.8 handlebar? Any rise to it?
thanks.......Mark

You know, it's generally considered a good idea (i.e. logical, productive and polite) to service for-sale ads. I've personally found much greater success when selling on sites like Craigslist. Armslist, etc. by actually responding to posts or questions from interested parties, than I have by not responding. Just sayin' .
BTW, that Scott stem I asked about, appears to measure 3.5" center-to-center, making it (roughly) 90mm, rather than 70mm.
GLWS.

Hey Mark,
Sorry bud...I don't log on to the forums that often and was up in CT all weekend making it more unlikely to log onto the forums. PM'ing is always easier b/c I get an email notification. All messages I receive(d) are always responded to almost immediately.
Anyway, I think the stem measured 3"c-to-c, not 3.5", making it closer to 70 or 75. I can remeasure if anyone is interested. Definitely not 90 b/c that's what I just replaced this one with to gain some extra reach. And yes, it's for 1-1/8 w/ 31.8 bars and does have a slight rise to it, but it's not marked on there so i don't know how much. I can send pics from the side if someone needs it.
Also updating the thread b/c the cranks have been sold and picked up.
