I've put around 1000 miles on this guy between my house and the office. I just got from fenders from Velo-Orange on there yesterday. Unfortunately, I never got used to the original brake levers so swapped them out for a new pair of Tekro's with matching brakes. It's a definite upgrade to my big clyde self going down the one man-made bridge we have and being able to stop. The chrome fenders definitely set it off nicely, my little isolation project.

A 73 is worth about $75 to $200 and more depending on the lack of rust.

IMHO, on something you plan to continue riding, the brake upgrade was a really SMART thing to do.

rode last night with the dynamo light on, and with the quarantine, it was so smooth a quiet that I could only hear the sound of the tires on the asphalt. Crazy smooth bike, and crazy quiet with the friction shifters.
