The clouds quickly ate the rising moon killing my interest with this view, decided to pack it up and head back in. Saw some nice color to the west and went to the bridge on the back of the island.

Some British birds - though the egret is a recent arrival and wasn't around when I was growing up.

Well I was at least 30ft away. Taken with 135mm lens on a camera with a 1.6 crop sensor, so equivalent to view of 216mm FL on full frame. Then I cropped the images using about 1/4 of the frame so if my math is correct if this image filled the frame of a 35mm (full frame) camera it would be equivalent to a ~850mm lens. So yes I kept my distance.

You see ads? I thought the yellow jersey took care of that.

For now.

Install ublock origin. Free. And astonishingly effective.

(Sorry for the bf people, but I really had no choice after getting some nasty bug from one of the ads served through supposedly reputable channels)

Thanks for the advice, I will look into that. Meanwhile, I don't really have a problem with ADs at the moment. You never know.
Clemson Girl, is it possible your PC is infected? I know, lots of strange stuff on the net. Malwarebytes is a pretty good, and free software too.

True, the ads are both the cause and the result of the infection.

ublock origin AND malware bytes. Do both.

i only sign in when i post something. the sad part to me is for those just looking for bicycling information (and not being a site member) could now have to deal with a big and intrusive ad presence, possible adware and the inconvenience of using the site.

i downloaded adguard for mac and that has taken care of it, for at least now. Ads are becoming more of a profit incentive for too many websites more important than supporting the idea of protecting the users from the intrusiveness of ads and possible adware.
...thanks google

i have good security....well, i now know except for very intrusive ads which adguard seems to have taken care of now.

All from Chichester - a historic town in West Sussex, UK.

Turner painted this view of the Cathedral - he didn't have to remove (or ignore) a lot of wires and power lines.
