Spike had a lot of dog qualities, from the very beginning. He always liked a trip in the car. I would take him with me if it was going to be only a few hours, sunny, and relatively isolated site. He would stay in the truck with the doors open.

We did have a challenge with our cat Moly when we tried a long leash on a trip and he crawled under a house and around a corner...

Thanks so much for the response.

He sounds like a most wonderful fellow.

Sorry for your loss.

This is Tigger. He's a St. Patricks Day kitty. He turned 8 years old today. Not too impressed by by my bike, but he enjoys a roll in the sun.

Thoughtful of you to leave the top on so carton can be enjoyed for "top down cruising" or buttoned up for quiet time...

we have 3 of them. I stash combs, brushes & scissors around the house so when one gets cozy I have a chance at sneaking some grooming for a few secs.

Ours are all short-hair, but they still need to be brushed. Just not as much. We are fortunate in that the one with the thickest coat really likes to be brushed.

^ Cats will be cats...

Meanwhile, I have a new study partner:

She's into another of her pattern shifts, spending a couple hours sitting on my desk looking out the window. Occasionally she'll walk across in front to sit on the opposite side, but really, she's well behaved. It's kinda endearing
