Kittel out at Katusha
Can't believe there's no thread on this yet.
There are lots of rumors, not sure I'd care to repeat any of them.
You don't fire/let go this guy before the tour unless you think he has no chance in hell at a stage win, which has been his past performance (lots of stage wins before the mountain stages). So, yeah, he must be in rough shape right now.

Wow.
A couple of years ago, it seemed that he could be the next Cavendish. He gave us some thrilling moments and I wish him well and hope that he has the opportunity to return to form. But maybe that isn't in the cards, as it seems there are some key parts of the story that are yet missing.

I was reading the news in French, and although there were hints of conflicts within the team, it may be that Kittel is simply burned out right now.

slay it. he was top of the pops for about 1.5-2 years. best wishes and hoping he makes it back on his own terms.

What a fall from grace.
It shows that its not easy to be a Cav or Greipel and stick around the front of the pack for so many years. Takes a special something to do what those guys have done.

It's hard to stay at the top level. I don't think he's tough enough, mentally, to stay there. But he has cool hair.
