The catch here is that I will next be in the US the second half of May. If there is anyone attending SOTR who wants to make this trade, it would be the perfect solution, from my end anyway.
ISO B17 narrow
Have B17 normal, black

ISO:

- Polished silver 170-175mm 110bcd crank that would look appropriate on a mid-80's road bike. 52/38-34 preferred chainrings.
Looking for something like a Sugino VP or maybe Sakae.

- 700c fork, 9 7/8" steer tube. Fender eyelets preferred. Bonus if 60-65mm of offset! Color doesn't matter, I'll be powdercoating to match the frame.

Have:

- 170mm 144bcd Sugino GLP, 52/42 chainrings, good condition with dustcaps (in picture above)
- All-Terra V-401, 44/32/22T mountain triple, black, square taper, off 2017 GT Karakoram Comp

I have a B17 narrow in black that I might be interested in parting with. It’s only slightly broken in, not sagging or anything and bolt hasn’t ever been tightened. What’s the condition of yours?

Sorry - I spaced. I'm away from my stash until tomorrow night. I shall look then.

Edit: yup. Send me a PM with your email and I can send a pic.

Similar. It's just too wide for me. Never rode it enough to break it in.

I should've been a bit more detailed. The hubs are shimano 105 1050 series so the chromed skewers are what i need.

Looking at your pic, I might have some of those - not sure how clean they are, though. This will remind me to look.

Unfortunately not the same. I have two Shimano fronts, but both have nuts on the lever, and the big nuts are wrong and unmatched.

ISO Raleigh rear brake cable adjuster

Looking for the brake cable adjuster that threads into the bridge across the seat stays on a 1973 Raleigh Super Course.

Are the Raleigh threads unique? If not, those should be readily available at your LBS, bike co-op, or used bike parts seller for nothing or close to it. If none of those are near you, I have several of these adjusters, although not sure what size threads work for your Raleigh.

Where are you?

Love that setup, looks great, works even better with the correct pieces in place.

Some of the Raleigh threads are unique. The threaded hole in the seat stay bridge is very small diameter. I tried an 8-32 screw, and it falls through. A 10-32 screw is too big. I couldn't find a metric screw that would fit. However, it could be 5mm? The center pull brakes are Weinmann which I think use metric fasteners, but I am not sure who made the barrel adjuster, it could be a Weinmann or something Raleigh sourced. In any case, it's a small diameter with fine threads, and not like the currently available ones at LBS. Actually there are 3 different size barrel adjusters on this bike The one with largest diameter screw thread is used the front brake. The second largest one, the one I need is used for the back brake. The shifters have an even smaller one.

A member following my build thread says he has one and will send it to me. Assuming it's the correct one, I am all set. Thanks for looking....

BTW/ I am in the Fingers Lakes Region of NYS

If a 10-32 thread is too big, an M5 will also be too big, as these are functionally equivalent. It is possibly a Whitworth thread, which may be a problem. Shops that service British motorcycles tend to be a good source for Whitworth fasteners and such, and it may be possible that a throttle cable may use a barrel adjuster of the proper thread.

I have vague memory of using the barrel adjuster from a set of Simplex Delrin shifters in a Raleigh, but I can't swear to it:

Upon closer scrutiny, the reason nothing threads into the bridge is because there are no threads in the hole Apparently it just sets in the hole, and is held tight with cable tension. It is a little bigger than the ones on the Simplex shifters, though they may work as someone else has told me. In any case I may have the correct one on it's way.

FWIW, I’ve never seen a threaded hole for that little rear cable stop on a Raleigh road bike. It just slips into the drilled hole. It is a fairly narrow stop, so the usual ones from various brakes don’t fit. An adjuster from a set of Simplex shifters will, however.

+1 The nut below the knurled cable stop threads on. This allows fine adjustment of the tension on the cable. The hole has no threads.
