dahon folding bike.

I bought a used dahon folding bike. It's an older one. it has the steering support angle brace and a three speed hub. designed in usa made in tiwan. I would like to know how to find the model, years made and where to get parts if I need.
I found the numbers scratched in the hinge area. H707 1493

the bike you have is often referred to as a "dahon classic". the date on the hub will very closely correspond to the date of the bike's manufacture.

They keep on rolling, don't they ? Its probably around 30 years old, nothing wrong with that but some spares are very hard to find, especially fenders or other plastic pieces like a chainguard. The only good point is that neither absolutely needs to be on the bike to be functional.

I'm seeing never used one for $700 on ebay.

Parts must be expensive too.
Lets see if anyone is willing to pay $700 for it, or if the seller is just delusional.

their assumption out weighs reality. highly doubtful that someone will bite that price.
