WTS: 1993 Bridgestone MB-2

This has the cool fork, and lots of very nice parts. Offered AS-FOUND, not ridden or messed with by me. Condition is fair to good, with lots of chips and scratches. Heavy damage on the DS chainstay and the fork. There is a small dent in the top tube. CLICK HERE for photo album

I think this is what Bridgestone called a "46cm." Measures about 17.5"x22" C-C. So Mediumish.

FRAME SOLD, PARTS AVAILABLE: SEE POST #12

I would encourage you to "Quote" when asking a question, the person you are asking will get an alert.

Frame/Fork/Headset, make it so.

Hi, I posted and sent an earlier email about the frameset and never heard back. If 1962Ford is now the new owner, congrats. I just wish that I had been contacted and given a chance to purchase it. Sorry, if there's some protocol here that I'm unaware of, I would appreciate knowing what it is. Thanks for any help.

Just don't be upset. The buyer and you were both new posters but he had the stronger, yet still weak track record. Generally it's first come basis but it's not policy and still at discretion of seller especially when 1st time posters want to buy. Twas always thus.
Participate in the discussions and more nice frames will come your way.

Thanks, Clubman, much appreciated. So many bike forums (and bikes) and so little time...

The answer is exactly as clubman said.

Also, FWIW I never received any e-mail from you. If I had then I certainly would've responded, but since I didn't it's not my job to chase you down. Most all transactions here occur over PM....for which you are going to need some participation/time or whatever the board requires.

Ok, thanks, duly noted. Maybe there's a problem with the email messaging? On to the next bike project!

Gartenmeister,

Excellent job on the packaging and quick shipping for sure!!! I appreciate all your help! Rainy day here, so I got a chance to build it up with all my stuff from another bike so it is going to live it's life as a drop bar with wide Compass/Rene Herse tires. Looking forward to getting out on it tomorrow.

Thanks again and anybody interested in these parts should go for it, it was a pretty clean Frame and Fork.

Post pics of this build! It would go perfect in the drop bar MTB thread. https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-v...nversions.html

Bumping this thread to highlight that cool cockpit and say that my super cool XT derailleurs from this thread came super fast and well packed. Buy from Gartenmeister with confidence.
