1980's? Raleigh Portage Bicycles
Hello. I'm located in the NorthEast and I'm looking for an appraisal of these two bicycles-Raleigh Portage Mens and Womens bicycles.
They belonged to my parents and I was told they were purchased/imported to Canada in the 1980's.
I guess you could get red paint or yellow and they picked yellow as it was rare/not the common color.
A couple of years ago, I had a bike shop go over the bikes. Replace the grips and seats and make sure they were good to ride.
I've been using one since then for riding. So they should both be pretty much original. Always garage stored, so a little dusty.
What would be your best guess to the value of them as a pair?
I tried to attach 10 images but got a notice that was not allowed for me since I do not have 10 or more posts. Any tips on how to add said pics here as I am not a spammer or bot. Thank you.

...they are noted by many as excellent touring bicycles. I'm uncertain whether a pair of them makes them more or less valuable. I see ads like that on the local Craigslist, trying to sell a matched pair, and all I can think of is how it makes it that much harder to sell them, because you need not one, but two people paired together as a couple, who are both the proper size and dimensions for your bikes.
Values on good quality touring bikes like this are all over the map, and the Portage is only well known among aficionado sorts. But even without photos, if the paint and decals are good, and the tyres, brake blocks, etc don't need replacement, probably $3-400 (American) each where I live in Northern California (but not a quick sale at much over $300). Apparently the pandemic has increased demand, so I might be either low or high. Prices are in flux.

Deleted due to major change in description. Not 1980s Portages.

...before you have ten posts, youi can post your photos, but they go into an album that is only visible if someone goes there on your user profile page. Which most people won't do.

Thank you for the replies. I'm not sure if people can see an album or not. None the less, it seems like the advice is to NOT sell them as a pair. Also is "LBS" short for Local Bike Store?

Here is a link to bspaul41 's pics. These are ATB style bikes and quite different from the 84-85 drop bar touring bike called Portage. Some of the preceding comments apply to the touring model.

Tough luck on that not being the same era Portage everyone immediately thought of.
The bike in the album plus $3.65, gets you a cup of coffee at Starbucks.

These are early 1990s Canadian market Portage. More entry level city bicycle than ATB. Serial numbers? Hard to price these days with the pandemic having different effects on local markets. Under normal circumstances, in an average market, I'd say $80-$100 for the pair.
