Yeah, that's funny. You never know what happens to these old threads!

you know, a neighbor of mine may have bought a pair of these, I'll look at them next time, saw them briefly the other week
Please, if you do, let me know what you thought of them!

This looks like a scam. Already contacted the seller, who's selling a bunch of these "new and in the box". She's willing to send them through the mail for 120$ shipping included. How bad can these panniers be? I mean, even if they're fake crap, would they still do the job or should I stay away? What I don't want is something that's going to break in the middle of nowhere, 1000 km from home.
I did not open the link, I assume you can get a pair of panniers for $120. Do what you want, but I would go for the real thing at a price that is not much higher.

Yeah. And I got a message from an admin. I think I’ve since sufficiently explained what must have happened.

Just came across the same thing last week responding to an ACA forum thread. Looked up the Sears Motel in E. Glacier Park on Google Maps. If you click on the official link it takes you to a Montana hook up site, complete with lurid photos.

But I’m not mad.

don't worry, when I reported it I staunchly defended you.

and yes, re these bags, not worth it. Go with a known quantity. Heck just the mounting ortlieb has is worth the difference.

Thanks. Plot thickens. And that’s all I’ve got to say about that.
