Fork options for Straight steerer and QR

Looking to upgrade my 2020 Rockhopper Comp 1x with a new fork. Its got a Suntour XCM coil spring now. So far I have looking into the SR Suntour upgrade program to get a Raidon or Epixon. Rockshox has a few that will work Judy and Recon? Manitou had the Markhor and Machete. I dont do anything too extreme, in fact so far the Suntour coil shock seems to have handled everything so far, but getting a lighter air shock on there will be nice in the long term. Any reason to choose one of these over another?

I never liked how Rockshox forks feel (but it's a personal opinion). I've had a Manitou R7 (really plush, but flexy), and a Suntour Axon RL RC (not flexy and not as plush).

I was happy with both. The Suntour though had a strange seals with an inset that tended to accumulate dirt. After 6 years, I suddenly ended up with a scratched bar and I attribute this to the seal design. Not sure if they have improved it.

I think that in your case, I'd get the epixon of the price is good.
