LF Versatile hybrid possibly with hardtail
Hi guys,
I am looking for an advice on buying a versatile hybrid bike. I'll be using it for commute to work (about 2miles), riding around the neighborhood and a smaller trip here and there. I am looking for a used bike under $500 as my level of riding doesn't justify anything more expensive My knees hurt on hilly roads so I don't think I'll get into long rides as there are hills everywhere here (bay area, ca).
I currently have an old Diamondback Wildwood borrowed from a friend until I get my bike and I like the hardtail as the paths around here have roots going under them time to time and I find it much less bumpy then on another old bike we have that has no suspension.
I am 5'9" so I am thinking 17" or 18" frame should be a good fit.
What I saw on craigslist so far in that price category with hardtail were:
Thank you,
Tereza.
