this is going to be great. 2 hours. Even in mountainous areas you should be able to find a less climbing route for one hour one way.

I have two Castelli jerseys. Both are race cut, one fits great and one (my new one from Bonktown), is shortish in the front. I wonder if the Bonktown one was undersize and hence sold by Bonktown for a reduced price.

I'm going to keep it and wear it with bibs. It will of course fit better after I conclude the cookie training plan experiment.

Still looks to be nice enough weather for a ride starting at this time. Course, we all know, the Continental Divide makes its own weather. Things change.

67 miles, 6700 vertical feet, over that big Mt. Dirfis pass both ways. Today that climb was more like a hard climb, not a Hellenic Hades' Hurt Locker. It's very hard both ways, probably harder on the front side, but there are 20% grades on the switchbacks on both sides. Very nasty. Felt much better on that climb today, really suffered on it a week ago the first time I did it (only did it one way that day, both sides today).

One more ride tomorrow, then we pack and we're out of here early Tuesday AM.

Any Fredly attempt to rival the meaninglessness of amateur Road Nazi competition is epic in its BF Futility. Reason enough to proceed in my view.

No, I'm spending time with Mrs. Pcad, and actually getting some if you know what I'm saying, and I'm not sure that you do.

By the time I've lost a few pounds and I've gotten used to these 6+ mile climbs, it's time to leave. So it goes.

I'm sure it's not an inch of fat, I've been learning to focus my quads. Ever since they get extremely sore afterward for a few days, so I wouldn't be surprised if they were getting bigger. Not only do they appear bigger, I am allot leaner than I was in January, or ever for that matter. I was riding well in the two group rides I did this week too. The closest I get to juicing is a Myoplex after each ride. I did however accomplish to loose the 10lbs I gained in less than 18hrs. Dropped 5 last night, and decided to do hills instead of distance this morning. Got 55miles of hillwork in now I am back down to 153. 8 more to go to my ideal race weight. With the whole week off, I should be in there.

This being the Democratic Republic of BF, I will put it to the vote. Only those who will take part should vote:

60 mins
1 1/2 hours
2 hours
3 hours
Polls open until Thursday 11 pm GMT.

Coasting votes 2 hours.
