white hoods.

Hi do you still have a set of Carlton NOS Lever Hoods in White.

I am in UK and can pay by Pay Pal or transfer.

Difficult to find.

Not sure how this site works or is current.

Best Wishes

Donella

Carlton Brake Lever Hoods

Hello Michael Angelo,

Perhaps it’s a long shot but do you have any of these white Carlton brake hoods left to sell?

Thanks!

#Michael Angelo last posted in January, so there's a chance he's still around.

I have a set of used ones in reasonable condition. I'll post a pic in a bit.

Hmm, looked for the hoods but found them attached to levers:

Certainly not NOS, but in pretty decent shape. Let me know if you're interested.

Interested

Hi, thanks for posting! Yes, I’m interested.

Because I’m new to it, the forum won’t allow me to message you directly until I’ve posted 10 times. I’ll work on that.

In the meantime, please advise on how to discuss payment and shipping. I reckon you can probably message me privately - I just don’t want to post my email publicly.

All the best!

Those last forever, and clean up really nicely with orange hand cleaner and/or magic erasers.

Well, It took me a few months but I finally got those levers and hoods I bought from you on the bike. I also found some vintage bluemels, fixed my Soubitez dynamo, and found an $8 ‘C’ nut for the seat post binder. My 16-year-old son using the bike and forgetting my admonishment not to jump curbs on it cascaded into a bunch of other work needing to be done including replacing an axel. I took it out today for the first time in months. new 27” Schwalbes en route.

I’ve got my slick ‘modern’ racing bike, it’s great and has its place but breathIng new life into these old machines then riding them is such a joy. Thanks for the hoods!
