Ace is ready for Halloween. This haunted house has two of those cardboard scratch boards... he loves shredding those things.

Bennie the Tiger wanted to be a part of inter-continent fam face-time convention on the TG day in Korea (K's TG is full moon day of Lunar Aug, yesterday), by facing his ass up to the camera—his usual way of expressing a vague interest or diversion tactic to a gathering that he's not invited.

We haven't had one of these for awhile:

This little guy was rescued from the Zogg fire by CalFire. His paws were burned.

Our vet staff is treating Captain Cal's injured feet today. He's been eating & looks much better than he did when he arrived.

Our cat, Millie. She is strictly a house cat and occasionally tries to sneak out.

I accidentally put this lamp on the cats' chair. She was not happy

The neighbors' cat refuses to go into their house, looks at our cat and dog through our porch window.

Neighbors cat stalking a squirrel, the long tailed tree rat got away unharmed.

That explains the singed whiskers. I'm glad it's being treated!

We once had a turkey stand on the rail of our back deck. Booger was a very feisty cat, so my spouse sent him out to chase the turkey. Booger said, "No way, I'm not messing with that thing."

I've decided that I'll have to sell Latte for cat gut guitar strings.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KcoXN28yL9

Ok, so I was out with Latte on a tight schedule today.

I left her in the pickup for a few minutes with the keys in the ignition.

She managed too open the rear window and escaped.

And, headed into a hedge and blackberry patch. It took a couple of hours to coax her out of that. So, this time I pulled the keys from the ignition (to disable the windows), and put Latte back into the pickup.

She then managed to lock herself into the pickup and lock me out (with the keys inside).

After calling for roadside assistance (who said they might come in 2 hours), I met my nephew that I was supposed to pick up.

Back at the pickup, then trick was to convince he cat to unlock the door before roadside assistance came... A borrowed fir twig, and I finally got her to unlock the door and let me in.
