As we age,.... the Spherovelo

Having recently succeeded with a grandson, launching him off his big wheel to a "Bike", his word, balance bike. Once I got the seat high enough most of the falling stopped and he just wouldn't, had to pry him off it to come in for dinner.

So this morning I was struck by the design of this child's bike, it's actually a quadra cycle, something I've seen now and then on Harley's going down the road with extended trainer wheels and thought as I age, ...size it up to an adult balance bike and ride on....cue "Born to Be Wild".

Looks to be pretty areo too, and the move to monster tires would have nothing on this, turn all the plastic bits into carbon fiber, add disc brakes, perhaps a future grail bike in the making?
No?

Those would get in the way of laying out supine holding your straight bars in and ultimate areo (Superman Flight) position, kind of like the head first suicide Luge racers in the Olympics, you could raise your legs as an air brake?

If Fred Flintstone were still alive today, he'd be impressed with the advances in foot-scooting transport technology.

Jeff, too cool!

But here's the opportunity presented by the Spherovelo:

Future TDF???
Rider chased by the Press Motorcycle/Scooter, just substitute the Spherevelo and like the Phoenix old racers will fly again???
