Holy **** that's awesome! . That's one of the best homebuilds on here. Did you use a jig for your frame and if so, can u post any pictures of it?

Not quite as exciting, but here's my Bacchetta Giro 20. I did make the mirror mount. Hand-filed it out of stainless steel about 30 years ago.
I use the safety vest as a cover for the backpack with all my goodies.

Nice Bike Steve
Nice build Steve! Nice clean and simple design. Makes me think of a mid/High Racer next. What is the material? You may want to post it to the Bentrider messaage board at https://www.bentrideronline.com/messa...splay.php?f=12

Sorry, no jig used on this one. Construction was all done with a level and straight edge. As the frame turned out well I have thought of making a jig from it though. The only problem is that each time I look at it I think of a different design idea / improvement!
If you'd like to read more of the construction and inspiration behind the design here's the link to Brad Graham's (Atomic Zombie) Forum.

Your Bacchetta Giro look pretty exciting to me! Really like this design. Especially, the chain control. Handcrafted mirror mount - gives your bent a great uniqueness. Well done!

The material is steel and includes parts from about seven different bikes.

Here is a pic of my bicycle
A few notes to accesorize: You can cut the bottom out of a side pocket out of a regular messenger bag (get the right size) to slip over the seat instead of shelling $120 on a RANS bag. You can use a regular rear rack and affix it to the seat stays with hose clamps instead of paying $45 for RANS rack. In the next week or so I will get some full fenders and maybe I will add a coroplast fairing for the winter.

PaPa, Just mounted the seat a little while ago, longest ride with it was 32 miles. I've since added a bit of foam to recountour the upper curve, but haven't been on a long ride with it. the original seat was straight across the front and i found it uncomfortable where it hit the back of my thighs.
