My (Relatively) New Bakfiets
I asked a lot of questions about gearing, lights and other stuff related to my bakfiets, but I never gave back to the forum and posted anything about it. I’m fixing that now.
Its a knock-off short version that I bought used on Craigslist a few months back. I love it, and ride my kids to school every day. It’s become my favorite bike and I just live it. I really don’t know why they didn’t catch on more in the US.

I used to have that same bike (or a very similar one), it was my first bakfiet. I loved it too. I found the cockpit was a little small for climbing the hills in my hood so I moved on to a different bakfiet but still hold a place in my heart for what started it all.
P.s. not sure if things got turned around in the mess of box riding but your kiddos helmet is on backwards.
