ProWheelBuilder, Velocity Wheels, Universal Cycles?

ProWheelBuilder, Velocity Wheels, Universal Cycles?
This 245lb Clyde wants to buy some beefier wheels for my gravel bike.
It seems like a lot of companies make custom wheels and I don't know which ones are reliable. I'm pretty sure I've seen Velocity Wheels recommended here. How about ProWheelBuilders and Universal Cycles? I've contacted all 3 of them for recomendations.
Velocity has a Clydesdale line of wheelsets but I don't think any of them are thru axle. I asked them about that.
PWB has what appears to be a Clydes-like wheelset but they are 32h, 2cross but are rated to 310lbs for road and 285lbs for gravel. I ride mostly road, but 285 I think is cutting it close once you factor in the weight of the bike and gear.
Anyway, please let me know if you've used any of these companies for a new wheelset.

I have used ProWheelBuilders three times for heavy duty wheel sets. Great service, super wheels.

Another plug for PWB here. I’ve been riding a custom road set for about 5 years now. I don’t clock up huge miles, but I ride them hard and haven’t had to adjust them since the break in truing. I test spoke tension before each summer season and never a problem

Someone PMed a recommendation for Universal Cycles. Price wise I think they were similar to the others. I had the best interaction with them over email but I didn't have issues with the others. I just got the best vibe from them.
I had "built" up a wheel on their website and in the notes mentioned my weight as well as my desire to possibly bikepack and then put in my order. They called me that day and advised I should go for a beefier rim. I listened to them and now I'm a happy camper.
